Senior Crew Controller - based in MaltaMalta

Headquartered in Switzerland with a global* presence around the world, Comlux delivers World-class Swiss-made business aviation services at the highest standards of the industry. To support our Operations Control Centre department we are looking for a Senior Crew Controller - based in Malta.
Reporting to the Head of Operation Control Centre, you will be responsible for:
-Working as a team member of the Operation Control Centre team in close cooperation with the Crew Travel Coordinator, Flight Dispatch and Sales Department according the duty schedule and work assignments.
-Evaluating feasibility and legality of private and charter flights with respect to crew duty/rest time and crew qualification rules.
-Scheduling Flight Crews (rostering) according to Company policy and respective EU OPS rules.
-Monitoring and planning actual flight programmes in order to identify possible duty/rest time irregularities and find/propose suitable back-up solutions.
-Administering travel arrangements for flight crew members during absence of the Travel Coordinator.
-Co-ordinating and communicating between the flight crew members and all relevant departments of Comlux in order to provide a safe and efficient flight service.
-Monitoring and supporting international Crew member’s passport validity and visa requirements for intended travel arrangements together with the Travel Coordinator.
-Maintaining crew records and operational data.
-Flight scheduling (requesting and arranging overflight/landing permits, handling and fuel arrangements, additional supplementary services)
-Coordinating between Maintenance, Sales and Company AOC Managers.
This position is on a rotating twelve-hour shift basis: three days ON, three days OFF roster and calls for a minimum of seven (7) years working in a similar position with worldwide flight operations experience. Air fares ticketing, hotel and travel bookings, knowledge of FL3XX, Amadeus or similar Reservation systems, MS Office applications and dispatch certificate or dispatch license would be considered an asset. Strong communication skills in English (oral and written) is a must whilst knowledge of additional languages will be preferred. This person must be able to work proactively and independently but also act as an effective team member. A flexible approach to work and ability to provide consistent results under a high pressure environment is required.
